I see these occasionally, but for some reason they’re always pale green. Haven’t seen a brown one before.

It’s a rebodied Nissan Micra. Never driven a Pao, but several Micras. They keep up just fine so long as you don’t get too ambitious.

I’ve also driven a Mk1 Smart (700cc turbo) on French autoroutes. That kept up fine too.

I think the pale green (Olive Gray) and pale blue (Aqua Gray) were the most common colors. The Ivory and Terracotta (this one) don’t seem as popular.

Yeah I don’t actually remember ever seeing that color in Japan. They sold these and the Figaro out in record time. I am surprised they didn’t do something similar again. There are quirky cars but these are pretty cool. I think a Pao could go baja like a Thing and get a more powerful Nissan motor. All the modded ones I have seen are slammed, someone needs to do a baja Pao.

52hp and 1700lbs is perfectly adequate, even for highways - as long as you spend most of the time in the right lane, which you should anyway.
